* Oversight of 17 FTE’s with dotted-line supervision of the hospital Landscaping team * Approximate department budget—$6M * Achieved highest 2022 GLINT score for Engineering in our Region and highest score for the campus, excluding the Executive office * Led construction-to-operations turnover for the new 5-story Nicholson Pavilion and new emergency department * Led three consecutive DNV inspections of the Physical Environment (P.E.) that resulted in zero findings at the Winter Park campus * Implemented digital knowledge resource sharing program for our team * Restructured shift coverage to maximize productivity * Created and implemented a new real-time financial tracking system. Finished 2020 and 2021 favorable to budget with 2022 currently $300K favorable to budget * Implemented acid/pH trim program for the condensing water system reducing potable water consumption by 50,000 gallons per day * Led numerous retro-commissioning activities in the central energy plant to increase energy efficiency with our current 12-month rolling consumption of energy being commensurate with that prior to the addition of a new 5-story tower in late 2019 * Championed strategic capital equipment purchases to facilitate insourcing of work previously outsourced to vendors; lift station repairs, roadway striping, power washing, RIGID Propress tool, etc… * Led Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) projects being executed at the campus; roof replacement, major air-handler replacement, medical air and vacuum system replacement, steam boiler controls upgrades, etc… * Implemented new process to weigh (on site) and digitally track regulated waste generated at the campus through to destruction/disposal. Offers real-time visibility to all waste generated, down to the individual container

* Serving supplemental to my current Director role to support the Orlando Engineering team. * The 60+ FTE team covers 3.5M square feet between the Area Maintenance, Plumbing, HVAC, Machine, Electric, and Electronic Shops. * Approximate department budget—$28M * Led the work order transition from Archibus to Peoplesoft

*Serving 8 area Hospitals along with 50+ non-acute locations in the Central Florida system. *Oversee utilities/infrastructure, the fire/life safety systems, and energy/automation systems. *Consult on mechanical designs for new construction and retrofits including major system component specification and developing optimal sequences of operation. *Help drive sustainability & energy conservation for all applicable/appropriate projects. *Drive energy efficiency improvement projects. Working towards carbon neutral/net zero energy model by means of zero landfill and sustainable/renewable energy sources. *Over several years my responsibilities expanded to include managing NFPA inspections for fire alarm, suppression and related specialty systems along with oversight of our emergency radio network. *Various initiatives and projects have resulted in $8.4M+ in cumulative savings thus far.

*Service Sales and Account Management for large commercial customers in Central Florida such as AT&T, Florida Hospital, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority etc... *Focused on streghthening customer relationships, executing mechanical system retrofits, and leading system design and operational enhancements by means of energy management systems.

*Worked as a regional SME for Siemens automation products assisting our technicians in Orlando, Tampa, Jacksonville and Gainesville with implementation of company technologies and execution of complex technical projects. *Assisted Account Executives with technical presentations and proper selection and specification of company products. Covered all major accounts and vertical markets. *At the time there were only 52 of us in the world within the company. A great experience for me!
