Following qualification in August 2017, I was promoted to Audit Assistant Manager during the next round of promotions. As an audit assistant manager my roles and responsibilities were: - Managing onsite audits with teams of up to 7 - Ensuring a smooth audit process, including liaising with clients and organising milestone meetings with key management personnel - Delivering high quality audits, with a focus on risk areas and areas seen as most important by our clients - Providing a value added service to clients by providing recommendations for process improvements - Leading discussions with Management around the proposed audit process prior to audit commencement, and feeding back on our findings from the audit. - Preparing and presenting audit findings reports to audit committees - Analysing technical and commercial issues including adoption of new accounting standards and transitions from UK GAAP to IFRS

After joining PKF in August 2012, we merged with BDO in March 2013. I continued to work towards my AAT qualification, qualifying level 4 AAT in 2014. Following on from my AAT qualification I worked towards the ACA qualification, becoming a chartered accountant in 2017. My roles and responsibilities as a senior at BDO included: - Managing audit teams of up to 3 onsite - Preparing clear and concise working papers for manager and partner review around significant risk areas - Ensuring a smooth audit process whilst providing exceptional client service
