Belvin Collins

I have been in the plastics manufacturing since 1979. I've done almost everything there is to do in this business. I started off as a press operator and assembly operator then i moved to the paint room and was a painter. I came back out to press and became a mold setter i operated a 20 ton and a 40 ton overhead crain also drove a 15 ton mobile crain and large tow motors. I became a injection processing tech in and about 1985 i have worked on injection presses ranging from 2 ton to 3500 ton. I went to Wisconsin to train on robots that we had added to our presses i currently still am a processing tech and i still work on the robots and also build the end of arm toolings for the jobs at our plant. I have also had some experience as a acting Supervisor for about 2 years i have had most all the classes like lean manufacturing, QS 9000, SPC, ISO, 5S etc.
