Software Engineer with 5 years of experience, having working expertise of 2 years in MLOps and 3+ years in Computer Vision, Machine Learning and Image Processing. My academic background is in Artificial Intelligence focused on images (Computer Vision), and Computer Science and Signal Processing, having studied a Master's and a Bachelor respectively. More personally, I am originally from Spain, although I lived in Ireland for a year when I was a teenager, and I am currently living and working in the UK since October 2021. These experiences have enriched me emotionally and culturally, finding myself alone in difficult situations but also having met and bonded with many different people from a variety of backgrounds, which have make me an independent but very sociable and open-minded person, apart from a pragmatic problem solver. Additionally, I am very active, and enjoy a wide range of physical activities in my out-of-work activities, like calisthenics and dancing and other creative hobbies like playing the piano and writing songs.

As a Computer Vision Engineer, I work and take responsibility for the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) dedicated to Segmentation and Object Detection tasks, and all the steps envolved in the pre and post processing of the data, mainly using Python in a Docker environment. Additionally, I am involved in the entire MLOps pipeline, from getting the data, to getting it available to clients and automating the pipeline as much as possible, improving the efficiency of the systems by decreasing manual effort and, hence, decreasing costs while also decreasing the turn around time of the data. As well as my technical contributions, I have also trained and mentored an intern, and lead meetings and communication with clients.
