My doctoral project aimed to understand the efficiency of several advanced electrochemical technologies for water disinfection and treatment. I investigated the key factors that influence the efficiency and feasibility of these technologies, published several peer-reviewed journal articles , and wrote recommendations for further optimisation and large-scale application. • Prepared in-depth and comprehensive literature reviews relevant to water treatment technologies used in water disinfection; exploring recent developments, lack of knowledge, challenges, and opportunities. • Selected, designed, investigated, monitored, and optimized laboratory advanced and conventional water and wastewater treatment systems. • Performed a wide range of laboratory testings for water quality parameters (e.g., Colour, Turbidity, COD, TOC, TN, TP, etc.), detection of oxidants such as ozone and chlorine, and microbial analyses for algae, blue-green algae, and E. coli. • Collected, analysed, and interpreted data obtained through experimental works. • Collaborated and Interacted effectively with students, supervisors, engineers, water operators and technicians. • Planned and completed a doctoral project on budget and within the agreed timeframe of four years. • Communicated my work to the broader scientific community and water industry through publishing 5 peer-reviewed scientific articles in high-impact journals and prepared another 3 papers for publication, industry-focused presentations, and seminars.

I was a key member of a research group developing novel advanced water and wastewater treatment technology titled “Electro-peroxone.” My role was to conduct scientific investigations on the efficiency of the novel technology based on experimental works with research outcomes published in high-ranking journals in environmental engineering. • Carried out several research activities including literature reviews and writing up of research proposals. • Formulated and ran laboratory experiments, collected and analysed data, and finally wrote up scientific manuscripts. • Worked closely with colleagues and our industry partner (TOSHIBA Power System) to test and optimise the new technologies. • Published 4 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, two conference papers, and presented in a conference.

Production Planning Engineer

As a Production Planning Engineer, I planned, coordinated, and ensured sustainable production of paints to meet sale forecasts and market demands.
