I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, where I worked on the 'Three Dimensional Dynamics of Micro Tools and Miniature Ultra-High-Speed Spindles' under the supervision of Prof. O. Burak Ozdoganlar. I have developed analytical models to predict the coupled three-dimensional dynamics of (rotating) cutting tools and designed a modal testing setup to determine the dynamics of miniature ultra-high-speed spindles. Apart from my main research area, during my Ph.D. study, I had the chance to work on several other projects including dynamic characterization of multi-axis dynamometers and fabrication of dissolvable microneedle arrays for intradermal delivery of biologics.
