As the founder of Coast Distillery, I created Latitude 16 Organic Gin as a certified organic Australian gin for venues, retailers and distributors who want a premium, story-led spirit on their shelves. Named for the latitude that intersects a secluded coral cay on the Great Barrier Reef – the place that first inspired the gin – Latitude 16 captures the easy, coastal rhythm of tropical north Queensland. Our custom bottle features subtle ripples in the glass that echo the water around the cay and provide a natural grip for easy, confident pouring behind the bar, and the bottle and brand identity have been recognised with a Gold Award in the World Brand Design Society Awards. Distilled in Australia with carefully selected organic botanicals, Latitude 16 is designed to be versatile behind the bar and memorable in the glass. My work spans distillation, product development, brand strategy and building trade relationships with bars, restaurants, retail liquor stores, independent bottle shops and distributors across Australia.
