I'm a Business Analyst in the BFSI domain — and I'm on a deliberate path toward becoming a Data Analyst. My current role is more than just gathering requirements. I work as the bridge between business stakeholders and development teams — owning BRDs, driving Scrum calls, managing competing priorities, and shaping product direction. In practice, I function as a Product Manager. That means I don't just understand data — I understand the decisions data needs to power. That business-first lens is what I bring into analytics. I don't just ask "what does the data show?" — I ask "what decision does this need to drive, and who needs to act on it?" That's a rare combination. And it's what separates analysts who report numbers from those who change outcomes. I'm now going all-in on the technical side: 🔹 SQL Server — querying, optimizing, solving real problems 🔹 Power BI — building dashboards that actually get used 🔹 Advanced Excel — because mastery here still wins rooms 🔹 Python — for analysis, automation, and visualization I'm not transitioning away from business. I'm combining everything I know about how organizations think and decide — with the technical firepower to prove it with data. The next team I join won't just get an analyst. They'll get someone who's sat in the room where the decisions get made.
