At Schneider Electric, I have been actively involved in the engineering, configuration, and execution processes of medium voltage (MV) switchgear types such as SM6-36, F400, Premset, and MCSet across both local and international projects. From project initiation, I developed technical solutions in line with customer specifications and managed the entire lifecycle including design approval, site-specific configuration, production follow-up, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), shipment planning, invoicing, and all subsequent technical and commercial revisions. With a customer-oriented approach, I was directly involved in critical technical aspects such as optimal switchgear selection based on site requirements, configuration of circuit breakers, disconnectors, measuring devices, and protection components. I conducted FAT procedures in close cooperation with client representatives, ensuring compliance with IEC 62271 standards and delivering high-quality, tailored solutions.

During my time at Eltaş Transformatör, I actively contributed to production development and transformer core engineering. I participated in projects aimed at enhancing the performance of distribution transformers, with a particular focus on core design and optimization of manufacturing processes. I developed engineering solutions to reduce no-load losses, improve magnetic flux distribution, and increase production efficiency. Collaborating closely with R&D and production teams, I applied both theoretical and practical knowledge to real-world challenges. My contributions in process improvement, material selection, and quality control played a key role in boosting product reliability and energy efficiency. This experience further strengthened my vision of delivering sustainable and innovative solutions in the energy sector.

During my time at Maksan Transformer, I took on a wide range of responsibilities, from test engineering to production and R&D, and from sales engineering to product development. I was particularly involved in projects focused on distribution transformers, where I conducted in-depth studies on magnetic fields and core design. I provided innovative solutions to critical engineering challenges such as core optimization and reducing no-load losses. Through my R&D efforts on new cutting methods and silicon steel sheet blending techniques, I successfully reduced costs, environmental impact, and raw material usage. These improvements led to more efficient and sustainable transformers by enhancing their no-load performance and reducing core cross-sections. By thoroughly examining silicon steel manufacturers and experimenting with various sheet combinations, I gained extensive knowledge about the behavior of these materials—particularly in terms of resistance, polarization, and specific losses (W/kg). This insight enabled me to make more accurate and efficient decisions in core design. As a test engineer, I performed routine transformer tests using advanced equipment such as the RANO 6000. I also actively participated in technical applications like the installation of MR on-load tap changers. In my role as a sales engineer, I contributed to the company’s commercial success by preparing and following up on tender documentation, managing customer relations, analyzing competitors, and monitoring market developments. I played a key role in expanding the sales network by developing new business areas and ensured smooth processes from proposal to payment tracking.
