About
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, I like to work in a multi-disciplinary team, to create and develop technical innovations that satisfy unfulfilled user needs. I create new functions, generate and rank concepts and integrate these into new products, which fulfil commercial, customer and regulatory requirements, while having control over production output variability and the impacts of external environment conditions. I design and validate computer models to predict variability of performance of new functions and concepts. I develop setups, prototypes and demonstrators from different mechanical, electrical, and optical components and materials to run experiments on. I test and verify to prove performance, reliability and statistical feasibility for mass production by applying methods like Design for Six Sigma, DFMEA, HBSRA, DFM/DFA & DfX. I work out concept designs to optimized manufacturing specifications for mass production. I am result driven and goal oriented. Making and working according a risks and decisions based development plan, that is lean and flexible, is one of my strongest skills.
