As the Head of the Marine Pilot Division, I'm in charge of making sure everything runs smoothly. This means overseeing a team of marine pilots and staff, making sure they're trained and working safely. I'll plan out how ships move in and out of ports, keeping an eye on performance and making improvements where needed. I'll also manage resources like people, money, and equipment to get the job done well. Building good relationships with others involved in maritime activities, like port authorities and shipping companies, is key. And if there's an emergency, I'll be ready to handle it, making sure everyone stays safe and operations keep going. Keeping up with rules and new developments in the field is also important to make sure everything stays in line with regulations. Overall, my job is to ensure ships can navigate safely and efficiently, while always striving to do things better.

- Sea Piloting preparation of passage plans among others: considering factors such as tides, weather conditions, navigational hazards and etc. - Bridge Operation and Monitoring the Pilot Transfer Arrangement. - Pilot/Master Information Exchange to ensure effective communication and coordination. - Engage knowledge and skills related to ship piloting and navigation - Harbour plotting in berthing and un-berthing operations including safe movement and alignment of vessel.

Conduct cargo, hull, machine and any damage casualty inspections on all types of vessel; communicate with issuers, brokers and owner as required; prepare comprehensive reports, adressing nature, extent and cause of damage; assist on estimating total cost of repairs; conduct on hull and machine loss prevention.

Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of a cargo vessel. Their responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks related to navigation, safety, cargo handling, crew management, and more.

Responsible for assisting the Chief Mate and Captain (Master) in ensuring the safe navigation, cargo operations, and overall maintenance of the vessel.
