I’m Basil, a hospitality and operations leader with hands-on experience building and scaling businesses across restaurants, food production, distribution, and short-term rentals. I currently co-lead Hubloft, where I oversee revenue strategy, operational systems, and performance optimization for vacation rentals. I also manage a portfolio of short-term rental properties, giving me strong exposure to marketplace dynamics, pricing, and guest experience. I’m a co-owner of Sora, a casual dining restaurant that also operates its in-house food production under the same brand. Alongside this, I lead operations at Sora Suppliers, handling procurement, logistics, pricing, and distribution—providing end-to-end experience across the F&B value chain. I also oversee Mio Cakery, a bakery and dessert brand supplying both internal outlets and external partners, with a focus on process consistency, cost control, and scalable operations. Earlier in my career, I worked with Airbnb in in-market host acquisition and later as a Community Leader, supporting and mentoring hosts across Kerala. This experience shaped my leadership approach around team enablement, quality standards, and community-driven growth.
