*Event Management: Directed event programs from fundraising dinners to special events to generate public and voter support for Members of the Parliament. *Stakeholder Relations: Managed relationships with external stakeholders and conducted regular meetings with groups such as the Canadian Cancer Society, Ministry of Health and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce. *Special Interest Groups: Organized and managed meetings with community leaders within Ontario; instrumental in the establishment of the Arab Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Contributed to the electoral campaign for the Member of Parliament in the riding and across the province of Ontario. I Organized and managed rallies, press conferences, community events, public appearances, conferences, galas and fundraisers. It was also an integral part of my job to meet with stakeholders and community leaders as part of the public outreach initiative. *Editorial support for the Member’s website. *Writing speeches, press releases, statements, articles, and policy papers. *Involvement in writing weekly reports and attending meetings with the Department of Foreign Affairs, Canadian International Development Agency and the International Development Research Centre. *Drafting policy papers on various issues such as the health care system, social development, consumer rights, immigration policy and issues in international affairs.

Attended the Harvard Model UN Conference and McGill Model UN Conference from 1999-2003. Vice President of the Undergraduate Political Science Council during the 2002-2003 academic year.
