Manufacturing and consulting services for energy and transportation systems in environmentally sensitive areas. Volunteer Board Member of the Yellowstone-Teton Clean Cities (YTCC) and Board President of the Teton Area Advisory Forum (TAAF). Both of these organizations are nonprofit 501(c)(3)’s whose mission and purpose are to provide a public benefit. The major emphasis of these efforts are to develop energy efficient, sustainable systems that fit the social realities of today’s complex world. This is particularly challenging in the Greater Yellowstone region which encompasses Wyoming, Idaho and Montana.

1977-80 Senior Scientist in Non-Destructive Evaluation Systems for nuclear reactor systems and fuels. 1980-92 Department Manager and researcher in ultrasonic and laser acoustic systems for characterization of materials and components. Notable accomplishments included non-contacting inspection technologies for NASA's Space Shuttle, Submarine hull technology for the U.S. Navy, and Chairman of the Joint Army, Navy, NASA, Air Force (JANNAF) Space Systems NDE Panel.1992-2001 -Served as leader of the Idaho National Laboratory’s Transportation Industry Group, Vice Chairman of the Department of Energy's Next Generation Vehicle Coordinating Committee, and a member of the Idaho Governor’s Task Force on Intermodal Transportation. 1992-2001 -Served as leader of the Idaho National Laboratory’s Transportation Industry Group, Vice Chairman of the Department of Energy's Next Generation Vehicle Coordinating Committee, member of the Idaho Governor’s Task Force on Intermodal Transportation, and program manager of the Greater Yellowstone System Amalysis Project, a joint effort between the Department of Energy, US Department of Transportation, and the US Department of the Interior.
