* Senior Systems Programmer - Responsible for maintaining a multi-LPAR z/OS IBM eServer for the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. * Served as the Team Lead and Project Manager for Technical Support group projects. * Supported approximately 85 third party products and multiple DB2, IMS and CICS regions. * Maintained the hardware configuration using HCD. ; * Install RSU, corrective and hiper maintenance using SMP/E. * Supported USS based links with local, state and Federal Unix and Windows based law enforcement servers. * Provided performance monitoring and tuning using SAS, MXG, WLM and TMON to ensure that performance objectives were met. Availability is critical since our systems support law enforcement officers on the street. * Assisted in the role of Security Administrator using CA-Top Secret software. * Installed and maintained CA's Top Secret security software. As there were no fully trained Security Administrators was also heavily involved in the day to day support of security definitions. ;
