Responsible for the overall day to day running of the hotel to include an overview of all departments. Responsibilities include the direct management of the front of house porters, Management of staff, insuring quality of service, insuring quality of standards. training, complaint handling and more. High customer interaction involved in meeting and insuring guest satisfaction.

Instrumental for the welfare,safety and comfort of up to 300 guests, catering to people form all walks of life and from every corner of the globe. Overall responsibility for the management and supervision of staff during the night shift. Also very important in day to day operations insuring the smooth running and transition between events such as weddings, birthdays, reunions, retirements, family gatherings, business meetings and many more. Our motto "Always Happy To Serve" is something I take very seriously and its the attention to detail that I believe I have developed in this position. Also during my time in this role I have represented the bar in food and beverage meetings and I have been heavily involved in some procedure changes. I am also responsible for bar stock takes.

During this period of my employment I was responsible for the prompt and professional service of both food and beverages while maintaining the extremely high standards and reputation of the four star Ardilaun Hotel. This ranged from fine dining in an award winning restaurant to casual dining in an elegant bar and bistro to large scale banquets of up to 350 diners. I was also important for attending to specific needs of guests while creating a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere in which to do so. This job involved a high level of customer interaction which developed my ability to build rapport, deal calmly with any problems and solve any issues which arose. My seamless transition between departments shows my willingness and ability to constantly develop. I demonstrated excellent teamwork in a busy environment, with an ability to listen to managers and customers, while also carrying out my work effectively. Other responsibilities include cash handling and training delivery.

Responsible for the ordering and replenishment of Kerry group merchandise in a precise and controlled manner in order to reduce waste. High interaction with supermarket managers, sales managers and delivery drivers.

Masters in Hospitality Management

Subjects fall into four different disciplines 1) Economics including the modules Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Economics Of Financial Markets, Money and Banking and International Monetary Economics. 2) Mathematics including the modules Linear Algebra, Mathematical Methods, Analysis, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Modeling, Measure Theory and Non Linear systems. 3) Accounting and Finance including the modules Actuarial Mathematics(I), Actuarial Mathematics(II life contingencies), Annuities and Life Assurances, Business Finance and Differential Equations With Financial Derivatives. 4) Statistics including the modules Probability, Statistical Interference, Applied Statistics and Stochastic Processes. .

Honors in Maths(C1), Irish(B2), Geography(C3), Also French(B3-Pass level), English(A2-Pass Level), Accounting(D1), Physics(D2) successfully ran the school tuck shop for one year and made a substantial profit.
