When I talk to somebody about the products I provide or I get asked for advice on any battery related issues I firmly believe that with over 20 years of experience in the industry they will receive the best possible solution. Any jobs that can be related to the battery industry are covered in my experience of 20 years. From starting out as a warehouseman & looking after warranty, charging & testing the product. Moving on to unloading delieveries, stock rotation & then becoming a delivery driver. These years on the shop floor have given me vital experience in knowing every step my product will take until fitted to the machine. Spending time in customer services & also as a salesman has given me the experience of dealing direct with the customer through good times & bad. Managing a team of 20 staff which covers all aspects of warehouse & customer service was a great challenge & experiance. Purchasing product from all over the world by visiting factories & planning the delivery logistics has been one of my favourite parts to the experience I have gained. My goal for my current company is very simple. Always be honest, offer alternatives & if the customer asks for advice use my experience in the industry to make sure they get the correct product.

I formed this company in March 2010 with a retail, office & distribution centre based on Adam Smith St in Grimsby. We have now extended the company base by taking over another unit next door which has helped increase our base stock to over 1500 different battery types charged & ready for immediate usage. I can supply all types of battery requirements through a same day delivery service if based in the Lincolnshire & Humber region. I can also offer a next day delivery service to anywhere in the UK. My experience & contacts in the industry means The Battery Warehouse has a large variety of well known brand names at very competitive pricing with immediate stock availability. As I have worked in many different job positions in the industry through the years I can offer any customer the knowledge that they will recieve the highest standards from my company in quality control through to delivering the goods with a quality service. Independent Batteries was a leading Automotive Battery supplier in the UK which grew to roughly 250k battery sales per year. It supplied all the UK & also sold batteries to Ireland & mainland Europe. Most of the product was purchased from S.America & Mainland Europe. Throughout the growth of this company I worked in many different roles ranging from Delivery driver to Salesman to Warehouse manager & finally finishing as Operations Director which meant I looked after all Office & Warehouse departments as well as implementing stock control & all purchases. This has given me the experience needed to make my current business model work. From testing batteries to purchasing them the experience gained from my time spent at this company is vital for current projects.
