Responsibility for developing the strategy for the department, acting as the first point of contact for the team, onboarding new employees, and maintaining the connection with center-of-excellence departments (Toxicology, NCAS, PKPD, ADME) and other stakeholders.

Pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic analysis and modelling to support siRNA nonclinical and early clinical development, PK SME supporting Phase I clinical trials.

Independently manage projects and external collaborations, design ADME in vitro & in vivo studies, pharmacokinetic & pharmacodynamic analysis and modelling, and mass-spectrometry bioanalysis.

Responsibilities include: independently manage projects as Principal Investigator or Study Director for ADME in vivo studies, pharmacokinetic and toxicokinetic analysis, and whole body autoradiography data collection and analysis.

Post-doctoral Fellow for Dr. Reza Mehvar. Responsible for the conduct and analysis of in vitro drug metabolism studies in rodent tissues (brain, liver, and kidney) utilizing UPLC-MS/MS. Included the dosing of animals with hepatotoxic reagents to induce chronic liver cirrhosis, and the subsequent collection of blood and tissue data for histopathology, serum analysis, and subcellular fractionation for in vitro drug metabolism studies (cytochrome P450 enzymes).
