Updating and creating department training manuals and presentations, supporting upper level management as needed (arranging travel reservations, preparing documents, screening phone calls, conducting research etc.), compiling reports, creating and maintaining databases, organizing department workshop (creating training materials and presentations, coordinating participants and presenters, arranging catering etc.), coordinating meetings (reserving and preparing facilities and meeting areas, coordinating catering etc.) communicating with various government agencies (Customs & Border Protection, State Department etc.) to ensure company compliance, supporting customers and UPS employees with regards to export and import requirements and regulations, responsible for ensuring timely updates to department website, responsible for ensuring that adequate departmental office supplies and equipment are on hand through timely purchasing and ordering procedures within budget constraints, arranging for equipment maintenance

Researching and petitioning penalty cases issued by various government agencies against UPS ensuring timely responses and providing compelling evidence in order to mitigate or cancel penalty cases

Supporting customers by answering phones/emails and providing information regarding international shipments, resolving problem shipments exported around the world by working inquiries from the importing countries and contacting the customer via phone/email to obtain missing information/documentation or instructions for handling of shipments.

Supervising groups of up to 25 employees, maintaining employee records and timecards, ensuring up to date training and safety certifications of employees
