I work closely with the newly established and growing CMF design team, all focused on making the owner experience the best it can be and in keeping with Dyson’s reputation. • Managing cross caterogies from haircare, floorcare, environmental care to wearables. • Ideation and development of colours, materials and finishes to realise CMF Design narratives • Assist in the creation of category leading CMF Design of our products from concept, through various stages of development, and into production • Support in sourcing and maintaining a comprehensive internal library of inspirational, advanced, and relevant materials and finishes, and CMF design Masters • Support in discovering new resources for materials to aid in enhancing innovation • Work collaboratively with the wider Design and Product Experience Team to promote world-leading design • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal teams including global RDD, Commercial, Quality, Engineering and programme functions for project success • Work closely with suppliers to ensure that specifications are understood and delivered according to our quality standards • Communication of CMF Design using visuals and models • Taking an active role in growing the CMF function at Dyson

With the newly established design team in SEA, my role as a Lead CMF designer covers a wide spectrum of responsibilities: • Establish network for CMF Design within the NPD RDD function in SEA • Support Senior Design Manager in growing the CMF team in SEA • Present CMF Design at executive level and represent CMF Design in SEA Design Reviews • Communication of CMF Design using visuals and models • Generate processes for seamless CMF Development in collaboration with engineering, quality and procurement internal functions • Manage workflows relating to material development and mastering for production • Work closely with production suppliers to develop feasible materials within cost and time constraints

ResMed is a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of innovative products for the diagnosis, treatment, and management of respiratory disorders. Working closely with textile engineers and design engineers, I am responsible for the creation and implementation of industrial design concepts, product forms, human factors, usability that maintains ResMed's high-quality look & feel, and enhancing the user's experience with ResMed's sleep products. • Trend research and analysis (internal e-newsletter) • User research (human-centered design and user experience of products) • Concept development (identifying new ways of product applications) • Aesthetic development (CMF - colors, materials & finishing in textiles) • Feasibility study of manufacturing (liaising with suppliers) • Communication through detailed design documentation (liaising with suppliers) • Managing of prototyping and sampling timeline (liaising with suppliers)

With a CMF design background, I developed a series of lectures and material experiments for the product design faculty. Through material awareness and case studies, these students will be equipped with the materials know-how and innovating new designs through materials explorations.

As the branch lead of Chris Lefteri Design Singapore, I hold multiple roles from establishing new leads in Southeast Asia to bringing innovative design solutions with CMF explorations (Colors, materials and finishing). As a product designer, i assisted the design team in the UK, delivering tailored design solutions for our client's needs. Throughout my time at the Materials Design Lab by Chris Lefteri Design, I also co-developed workshop contents and curated the materials library at the National Design Centre by DesignSingapore Council. As a toy designer in Playimaginative, I held multiple roles from product, packaging design to project coordinator. With an extensive portfolio that includes Disney, MARVEL, DC Comics and SpongeBob SquarePants, it has expanded my core skill not just a product designer, but a 2D illustrator. • Conceptual design for toy applications • Translating 2D artwork into 3D data • Liaising with manufacturing counter-parts in Guangzhou, China • Sourcing for new manufacturing partners • Ensure sample quality meets client's production standards • Quotations and price comparisons across competitors • Production supervision to ensure stringent quality control before shipment
