As the HR Director at PT AKR Corporindo Tbk., I led the Group’s human capital strategy across its diversified business units, including subsidiaries in logistics, manufacturing, trading, and infrastructure. I served as a Strategic Business Partner to the executive leadership team, ensuring HR was deeply aligned with corporate objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth strategies. Recognizing the importance of employer branding in a competitive talent market, I pioneered the establishment of a new Digital Branding & Communication Department within the HR Division. The goal was to position AKR as a modern, attractive, and purpose-driven employer, especially to the next generation of professionals. As General Business Manager at PT AKR Corporindo Tbk., I played a pivotal role during a transformative phase when the company was preparing to expand into the energy sector, marking a strategic shift that would significantly shape AKR’s future as a major business group. I was entrusted to analyze market opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and present strategic proposals to the Board of Directors—aimed at entering the oil (fuel) distribution business in Indonesia. My work laid the foundation for AKR’s entry into the downstream energy industry by identifying key growth areas and aligning them with the company’s existing strengths. Key responsibilities included: 🔹 Conducting in-depth feasibility studies for entering the Marine Bunker Fuel business at several strategic ports in Indonesia. 🔹 Leading benchmarking missions to global maritime hubs such as Busan, Port Klang, and Rotterdam, to study international best practices in bunker fuel operations and port logistics. 🔹 Initiating strategic dialogues and establishing relationships with key stakeholders in the oil and energy sector, including regulatory bodies, suppliers, and logistics partners. 🔹 Optimizing the company’s existing asset portfolio—including warehouses, tanks, and trucking fleets—to maximize operational efficiency and prepare for future energy logistics demands. This strategic initiative became a cornerstone in AKR’s successful transformation into a diversified, future-ready business group, setting the stage for its growth in the energy infrastructure landscape of Indonesia.

As President Director of PT Kotindo Indah Maju, I was entrusted with leading the company from its inception—transforming it from a startup concept into a successful, large-scale manufacturing enterprise in the plastic packaging industry. PT Kotindo Indah Maju specializes in plastic injection molding for packaging, and later expanded into plastic coating technologies, serving a wide range of industries with high-quality, customized solutions. We established a supporting factory ecosystem to strengthen the main production lines and ensure integrated operational excellence. I led the entire company setup process, from securing permits, building factory infrastructure, to recruiting the founding teams and establishing operating procedures. I also initiated strategic partnerships with Japanese and Taiwanese firms, bringing in international expertise and innovation to enhance product quality and competitiveness. Key highlights of my leadership: 🔹 Successfully established Foreign Direct Investment (PMA) entities from start, overseeing every stage of development—“from zero to hero.” 🔹 Built the company's operational structure, manufacturing systems, and governance frameworks to meet both local compliance and international standards. 🔹 Drove business expansion from plastic injection molding into coating applications, opening new market opportunities and boosting value-added offerings. 🔹 Cultivated a culture of quality, discipline, and continuous improvement—critical to positioning Kotindo as a trusted partner in the packaging supply chain.
