Chief Technology Officer at Kinewell Energy. • Leads on the technical delivery • Develops innovative software solutions to support offshore wind planning • Keen problem solver with experience in mathematics and programming • Happy to take part in science and maths outreach I am a responsible, collaborative, and open-minded engineer who balances competing objective to make long-term strategic decisions, as well as understand and support day-to-day activities. I lead on research and development activities, including expanding Kinewell Energy's products and services. I have experience building models from first principles, demonstrating creative thinking to solve complex energy challenges and applying advanced statistical methods to handle uncertainty. I am a full team player that prioritises honesty and fairness. I previously completed a PhD and MMath degree from Durham University. Here, my research focused on developing a software tool to handle uncertainty in offshore wind planning, mainly supporting long-term planning decisions. I am also a Fellow of the Durham Energy Institute (DEI) and actively engages with STEM outreach in the local area.
