Bailey Martin

I am a recent graduate with a B.S. in Exercise Science from Rockhurst University. I am passionate about healthcare innovation, wellness, and improving patient outcomes. My background includes hands-on experience in cardiac rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, outpatient physical therapy, and community wellness initiatives. I have led interdisciplinary care efforts, coordinated therapeutic activities, and contributed to individualized care planning across several clinical settings. One of my proudest accomplishments was my participation in managing a public health initiative for Kansas City correctional officers in partnership with Rockhurst University. My class provided free health screenings, exercise testing, detailed exercise plans aligned with the screening results and goals of the participant, and two follow-up personal training sessions. During my final year at Rockhurst, I was selected to complete my practicum in cardiac rehabilitation. For my final project, I created a public education seminar for the cardiac floor, engaging PTs, OTs, nurses, exercise physiologists, cardiologists, and patients. I presented on the benefits of improving flexibility and mobility in patients with cardiovascular and age-related conditions. I am currently exploring entry-level opportunities in medical device or pharmaceutical sales, where I can combine my clinical knowledge with strong communication, leadership, and networking skills. I am also deeply interested in health research, wellness programming, and nutrition education, and am committed to ongoing learning in clinical environments to better serve both providers and patients.
