A government agency under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), Yayasan Hijau Malaysia (YHM) was established on 2 March 2014. The formation of YHM aims at promoting and educating youths on the importance of green technology and its benefits towards sustainable living through various programs and activities conducted under the organization. YHM also plays a pivotal role in promoting and encouraging the participation of Corporate Entities, Communities and the general public towards increasing green living practices in Malaysia through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and sponsorships whilst creating awareness and call for actions on the importance on having a greener lifestyle.

The company is 100% subsidiary of Bina Darulaman Berhad (BDB). The principal activities include investment in green technology businesses. Feasibility study was done on suitability to have a recycling park in the northern part of Malaysia.

BDB is a public listed company that is 60% owned by the State of Kedah. My role is leading an initiative to create new businesses in Green Technology field and embark on development of Green Industrial Park in Kedah. I lead the company in starting a new venture in circular economy and green industrial Eco-Park and carbon offsetting/forest conservation, besides the ongoing renewable energy effort. The company's initiative aligns with Kedah 2035 goals and Malaysian government objectives outlined in New Industrial Masterplan 2030, NETR and National Industry Framework for ESG. I am instrumental in leading the successful of BDB's Forest Conservation Program, to be the first initiative in the country to be endorsed by Malaysia Forest Fund.

As the COO for Koop Sahabat's Subsidiary, Drizzle Engineering, a waste management, insenirator concessionaire with Malaysian government. Koop Sahabat is a cooperative for Amanah Ikhtiar Malaysia members. Prior to that, I was the GM of investment and business of the Koop which has diverse business activities including oil palm plantation, timber, property and real estate, alRahnu and food manufacturing factory. A board member of Sahabat Ikhtiar Retort and Sahabat Ikhtiar Property.

Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (LPPSA), is a statutory body under the purview of Ministry of Finance, Malaysia. The statutory body is entrusted in providing housing loan to the government employees. Previously the task was held under Bahagian Pinjaman Perumahan, Kementerian Kewangan. As corporate treasurer and head of Treasury Department, I am responsible in: 1) the fund raising exercise for LPPSA; 2) investment of LPPSA's funds; 3) managing relationship with investors. I work closely with the Ministry of Finance officials, Financial Institutions, Investment Bankers, Advisors and fixed income Investors. During my time heading it, the department has successfully issued RM10.25 billion of Sukuk, RM2.0 billion in Commercial Paper in the Malaysian bond market and few hundred millions term loan to banks and institutions. As part of the senior management team, I am directly involves in LPPSA change management which include the setting up of Corporate Key performance Indicators, Risk Management, Business Continuity Management and others. I am also the Chairman of LPPSA's relocation committee.

Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations Ahmad Zaki Resources Berhad (AZRB) is a Public Listed company with major activities in the construction, oil & gas, plantation, property development and expressway. AZRB is one of the biggest bumiputra construction company in the country. It has more than RM5 billion completion contract jobs ranging from road and highways, hospitals, mosques, stadiums and others. As head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations, I am responsible for: a) Planning AZRB's group funding strategy and overall implementation of the strategy to get the best funding option for the group either through equity or debt market. b) Ensure that the treasury team get the best deposit placements of the group excess funds. c) Maintain AZRB's good relationship with investment communities. d) Assisting group strategy in its quest of new business opportunities in merger & acquisition especially in drawing up the financial options, feasibility study and analytical support. My role as head of department requires that I maintain and manage a very good rapport and relationships with Financial Institutions, government body & agencies, solicitors, consultants/advisors and financial related regulatory bodies. I lead a 6 men/women team engaged in the corporate finance, treasury and investor relations role for the group.

Aries Telecoms is a licensed fixed line network telco, providing network facilities and services mainly to MNCs and large banks and corporations. It has one of the largest nationwide optical Metro E network. I am heading the circuit provisioning team who report direct to the COO. My project management team is tasked to deliver the Metro Ethernet (Metro E) circuit as ordered by our customer. I have one assistant manager and 5 field engineers working under my supervision. My main responsibilities are to ensure that the services subscribed by our customers are delivered on time within the ready for service (RFS) timeline and the cost of service delivery is managed prudently and kept to the minimum. Our team was the best service provider 3 years in a row as conveyed by our main global business partner. Additionally, I am also tasked to assist the project teresterial management team in identifying the new Point Of Presence (POP) within our cabling routes from Bukit Kayu Hitam to Kuala Selangor in the Northern Region. My role as a Project Manager is as follows: a) Responsible for the overall planning, implementation and operations. b) To plan, manage and execute projects to ensure timely completion within budget and desired quality. c) To co-ordinate with and liase effectively with clients, authorities, contractors and consultant. d) Preparation of project report and other relevant reports for the management’s information and review. e) Assist the marketing and sales team in preparation for tender exercise.

Entrusted to set up a Treasury Unit in PKNS, a RM4 billion networth company which is involved in the township and property development in the state of Selangor. Main role is to assists the Group in sourcing its funding requirement. Also involved in the corporate finance, analysis of joint venture/privatisation project, divestment of assets and future development business of PKNS. A member of (1) the Business Development Committee, (2) the Affordable Housing Monitoring Committee and (3) the State Special Project Monitoring Committee. My achievement while in a short stint in PKNS includes the following: A. Advise the issuance of RM700 million SUKUK facility for PKNS in 2013. The Bond was rated AA3, a notch up from previously A1 paper and the first tranche of RM400 million was drawn down in October 2013. B. Assist Datum Incorporated in getting the the PKNS Board's approval for the proposed Syndicated Facility of RM700 million C. Revaluation of KESAS highway for proposed divestment of the highway and recommended for PKNS board to reject Gamuda Berhad’s lower price offer for the highway. D. Involved in the transformation plan as consulted by PWC for the PKNS Group including the proposed IPO for one of the subsidiary.
