In Oracle; Act as a Buyer within GE AVIATION inquiries and Project development team Price queries, quotation analysis, and condition comparisons Place and follow up on “Purchase Orders” Manage relationships with suppliers for “Purchase Order” execution Cost, time, and quality-oriented procurement, Manage problems with order details, Execute Foreign Trade Zone import/Export operations Drive improvements in sourcing processes including escalations due to delivery/quality issues invoicing/payables issues Analysis of procurement models The interface between engineering, production planning, sales, finance, and accounting In SAP; Price queries, quotation analysis, and condition comparisons Approve “Purchase Orders” Price setting according to contracts for supplier materials and PO updates Contracts; Preparation and execution of contracts and price negotiations Contract/Agreements follow-ups Negotiate the best commercial and technical package for procurement requirements Invoice & Payment; Clear all invoices on hold Follow-ups for on-time payments, including “Urgent Payment” & “Special Payment” Drive improvements in sourcing processes including invoicing/payables issues for hold payment and invoices Supplier; Identifying new supplier and negotiation management within the given framework Assess supplier capabilities & make recommendations on supplier acceptability Follow up with supplier for on-time delivery Adding, updating, and activating suppliers on the system Monitor suppliers „quality and delivery performance and develop improvement strategies to ensure business needs are met Projects; Participate in Global Projects with respected sourcing team as a Vendor Management Specialist, and Strategic Procurement System Planner within the company (in office and on site)-for Middle East and Turkey Integrating supplier to the system Training; Train new buyer/s and engineers to be able to adapt the system and process in the Company
