* Supervisor : Dr. Gail Atkinson * As a research assistant in engineering seismology lab, I was involved in an initiative with other eight Canadian universities, focusing on a new earthquake hazard model and engineering mitigation actions in Canada’s major urban centers. * Develop and process of seismicity catalogs in eastern and western Canada * Conduct research on statistical modeling of earthquake occurrence in low seismicity regions for seismic hazard purposes * Develop and implementation of computer codes for short-term likelihood forecast of triggered events including aftershocks * Static stress modelling * Production of reports and journal papers * Presentation of research work at technical conferences and workshops

* Project title: Assessment of Subsurface Shear-Wave Velocity Profiles Using Ambient Vibration Techniques * A key technical role in designing the survey, planning, and performing near-surface geophysical surveys (passive seismic methods) * Lead a team to complete the processing and interpretation of the passive seismic data * Training and mentoring the team in both the use of the software as well as scientific aspect of data analysis

* As a seismologist in the Seismotectonic department, I was involved in various projects including fault microseismic monitoring system, processing of microseismic data and creation of PSHA models. My tasks include but not limited to: * Processing of field acquired microseismicity data * Delivery of support for data acquisition including fieldwork where necessary * Functional design and implementation of computer codes required to address practical challenges * Develop of seismicity catalog and evaluation of recurrence models for various PSHA projects * Production of reports, presentations and technical materials * Contribute to proposals for consultancy relating to seismological projects * Personal development and skills training

* Supervisor : Dr. Gail Atkinson * As a project researcher at the Canadian Collaboration in the study of Induced Seismicity, I have been responsible for detailed analysis of seismic data that helps in the creation of PSHA models related to the petroleum development. My tasks include: * Develop and maintenance of high quality baseline seismicity catalogue for monitoring purpose * Contribute to computational modelling of induced seismicity for the creation of PSHA models * Development and implementation of scripts for testing new processing workflows * Production of reports, and presentations * Contribute to conference and journal publications * Training and mentoring students
