As the Purchasing Manager at The Bodrum EDITION, I oversee all procurement operations across the entire property—covering not only our acclaimed F&B outlets but also every hotel department, from housekeeping to spa, engineering to front office. My purchasing scope includes: • BRAVA – a lively and elevated Italian concept, • INARI – offering an elegant Far Eastern culinary experience, • Kitchen by Osman Sezener – our Michelin-starred Aegean fine dining destination, • and Morena – the relaxed yet stylish beachfront venue. From sourcing high-quality products and negotiating with top-tier vendors to managing budgets and timelines, I ensure operational excellence that supports both the guest journey and the EDITION brand’s signature style. As part of the pre-opening team at Akana Hotels, a refined boutique concept nestled on the Aegean coast, I was fully responsible for establishing and managing the end-to-end procurement processes during the brand’s critical launch phase. From scratch, I set up the entire purchasing infrastructure—including supplier selection, contract negotiations, cost control strategies, and delivery planning—ensuring operational readiness across all departments prior to opening. I also implemented warehouse and stock management systems, designing efficient workflows for tracking inventory levels, optimizing storage, and maintaining supply continuity in line with the operational needs of a boutique hospitality environment. By aligning procurement strategies with the brand’s vision of elegance and functionality, I played a key role in building a strong and sustainable supply chain from day one.

As part of Çağdaş Holding, one of the largest and most established investment groups in Bodrum, I was primarily responsible for managing hotel procurement operations within the centralized purchasing structure of the company. My key responsibilities included overseeing all purchasing processes for: • Swissotel Resort Bodrum Beach, • Akana Hotels, and • Akana Loft. From pre-opening phases to full operational support, I successfully managed: • Supplier selection and contract negotiations, • Budget control and delivery planning, • Implementation of warehouse and stock management systems. Working across multiple hotel brands, I developed the ability to manage both international chain standards and boutique hotel dynamics simultaneously. This role significantly enhanced my expertise in strategic procurement, operational planning, and multi-level coordination.

As a Purchasing Supervisor at Vogue Hotel Bodrum, one of the largest and most prestigious resorts on the Aegean coast with over 400 rooms and villas, I played a key role in managing high-volume procurement operations in an ultra-luxury, fast-paced hospitality environment. Throughout the peak summer season, I successfully navigated the intense operational demands of a full-capacity resort—ensuring seamless coordination with all departments and uninterrupted supply chain flow to support guest satisfaction at the highest standards. During the off-season, I led the procurement processes for multiple large-scale construction and renovation projects, including newly built facilities and infrastructure upgrades from the ground up. This involved working closely with contractors, architects, and technical teams to source materials, manage timelines, and control budgets across all phases of development. My role demanded agility, strong supplier relations, and strategic planning to ensure both operational efficiency and long-term value creation for the property.
