From a young age, technology fascinated me. Growing up in Bhagalpur, Bihar, and attending Mount Assisi School, I was introduced to computers in the 4th grade. This early exposure ignited a passion that steered me towards CS engineering, diverging from my family's expectations of a medical career. My professional journey in finance and tech began at Indus Valley Partners in Delhi, where I honed my skills for a year before moving to Oracle in Hyderabad for a five year stint. These experiences paved the way for my role as CTO at @Goalwise, a Fintech I joined alongside my childhood friend, Ankur. When Goalwise was acquired by @Niyo, I transitioned into the role of VP of Engineering. During my tenure, I worked on diverse projects including banking solutions, lending, remittances, and wealth management, contributing significantly to Niyo's technological advancements until February 2024. I also worked closely with Infosec on understanding and implementing the nuances of compliance at both Goalwise and Niyo. Now, as a co-founder and CTO at @Belong, I embrace the increased responsibility of leading the engineering charter. This role represents my brand-new co-founder stint and allows me to leverage my extensive experience to drive innovation and growth.
