Python Web Developer | Flask | MySQL I build web applications using Python and Flask, focusing on creating functional solutions that work in production. What I've Been Working On: At SeenITApp, I developed a professional networking platform where users showcase portfolios and connect with others. I built the entire profile system - users can upload profile and cover photos, select skills and services, and organize work by categories. The challenging part was handling many-to-many relationships between profiles, skills, and services using junction tables. I implemented file upload functionality that generates unique filenames, validates image formats, and stores files securely. I also handled complex form submissions with AJAX and built dynamic templates with Jinja2. For iFarm, I created an agricultural management system for tracking farms, crops, and harvests. I set up the database architecture using SQLAlchemy ORM and used Flask-Migrate to handle schema changes without losing data. I configured environment variables for secure database connections and deployed the app on PythonAnywhere, working through WSGI configuration and production debugging. With HOGApp, I worked on business management features, building database models and optimizing queries for multiple users. Technical Skills: Python/Flask backend development, MySQL with SQLAlchemy ORM, Jinja2 templates with Bootstrap, form handling with WTForms, file uploads with validation, CSRF protection, session management, and PythonAnywhere deployment. Problem-Solving: I've debugged CSRF token errors, file path issues, database relationship bugs where data wasn't saving, and image display problems. I've learned most issues come down to checking what data is sent, verifying it reaches the backend, and confirming it's processed correctly. I enjoy taking ideas, building them into working applications, and solving problems that come up along the way.

Designed and developed SeenIT, a dynamic web application using Python, Flask, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and React.js, enabling users to create profiles, upload projects with multiple media (images and videos), and showcase their work in a community-driven platform. Engineered robust backend functionality with Flask and SQLAlchemy, implementing models like Users, Profile, Project, and ProjectMedia to support one-to-one and one-to-many relationships, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval for user profiles and project media. Developed HOG App using python, an ecommerce platform for the selling and distribution of tile, implemented paystack’s API.

At M365Connect, I worked as a Database Engineer supporting the development, stability, and integration of internal tools. I focused on troubleshooting complex backend issues, improving data workflows, and extending the capabilities of third-party platforms used across the company. I contributed extensively to debugging and configuring Budibase, including resolving data-source connection issues, identifying missing UI elements after platform updates (such as the relocated Execute Query section), and validating REST API configurations. I supported the engineering team by ensuring that internal Budibase apps connected reliably to external APIs and internal services. I resolved multiple PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy problems, including datatype conflicts (e.g., “operator does not exist: character varying = bigint”), misconfigured connection strings, and schema inconsistencies. I repaired Alembic migration errors, corrected corrupted version files, and aligned ORM models with production database structures. I also fixed several Flask configuration and deployment issues, such as import failures, circular dependencies, incorrect environment variable loading, and file-upload handling. My work helped stabilize the backend and reduce recurring runtime errors. A major part of my contribution was integrating Manatal into our internal systems. I extracted over 100,000 candidate records from Manatal’s API, built a pipeline to move the data into our own database, and created webhooks to enable real-time updates. This integration allowed the company to run advanced reporting, automate processes, and build tools beyond Manatal’s native capabilities. Additionally, I maintained clean development workflows by resolving Git remote issues, repo migration errors, and .gitignore misunderstandings. I guided teammates through debugging steps and helped ensure smooth collaboration. Through these tasks I boosted system reliability, enhanced data access, and resolved key technical issues.

I have honed a robust skill set in software development, mastering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and React.js, which I applied to create and deploy the innovative SeenIT app, a platform for showcasing user projects and profiles.
