 Issue purchase orders.  Daily coordination of GTS procurement activities.  Assists staff as needed on creating clear and understandable purchase requests and other documentation.  Collects quotations and bids from the market for PR-s as assigned by manager.  Provide equal opportunity for vendors/suppliers to make price and specification quotations.  Reviews requisitions, confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability and delivery schedule.  Ensure clear delineation of roles for procurement.  Generate all required procurement documentation and maintain records and files in an impeccable manner.  Coordinate with Finance Department to make sure the payments are delivered to the suppliers in a timely manner.  Assist program staff with raising purchase requests (PRs) and provide price estimations of goods requested.  Update relevant staff about the status of his/her request and delivery and maintain regular contact with supervisor on matters of procurement.  Supervising other staff, such as help-desk technicians.  Other duties as assigned.
