As a member of senior management, I lead the development, implementation, and coordination of public health policy, working closely with executive government leadership to establish a robust governance framework, best practices, and evidence-informed guidelines to address complex public health issues. I provide strategic advice, information, and operational support to the Chief Medical Officer of Health and senior decision-makers, enabling alignment with government priorities and facilitating informed decision-making on the ministry’s strategic and business plans. I also collaborate within a Tri-Ministry partnership and with a wide range of external stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of Alberta’s One Health Antimicrobial Resistance Framework for Action. I lead the Office of the CMOH's environmental public health portfolio, offering strategic leadership, mentorship, and subject matter guidance to staff across a variety of emerging and ongoing public health files.

I led the development and implementation of key provincial public health programs. I provided public health expertise and leadership on various public health issues (population health assessment, surveillance, environment public health, etc.). I also led the review and amendment of relevant act and regulations.

I supported development of public health policies and policy-related strategies to promote and protect health and prevent and control diseases of public health importance. I provided public health technical expertise, planning and project leadership on various public health issues and initiatives.

Supported Sage's pandemic response in the Edmonton region on areas of direct services, planning and program development, volunteer coordination, and community relations.

Lead the evaluation of Behavioral Change Sustainability Programming, the Green Spaces Certification Program.

Led the research, monitoring and evaluation in the organization's outreach channel to develop and implement M&E activities.
