* Automation Project Management, Design, Installation, Testing and Commissioning. * Design, Fabrication and Wiring of Control and Electrical Panels. * PLC and SCADA Installations and Faultfinding, as well as PLC Programming and Implementation (Siemens, Allen Bradley/Rockwell, Modicon, Omniflex, Mitsubishi, Schneider) * Radio Telemetry and Communication Installation, Faultfinding and Repair. * Creating and Compiling Technical Documentation, O&M Manuals and Project Reports. * Draughting of engineering, electrical and P&I Drawings. * Key Achievements: * Worked extensively on several communications, PLC and SCADA projects at various Umgeni Water sites. The largest of which was the PLC, SCADA and Communications Upgrade carried out at Umgeni Water's Hazelmere/Ndwewe site and 4 pump stations. Old PLC's were removed and replaced with newer Allen Bradley PLC's and the MOXA radio communications upgraded with redundancy to provide a failsafe control link. Many similar projects followed.

* Appointed as Trainee Technician, promoted to Technician and then to Senior Technician. * Maintenance and repair of factory machinery, computers and IT systems * Attending to and resolving breakdowns of machinery and minimizing production downtime. * Performing scheduled maintenance, system upgrades and projects. * Highlights and Achievements: * Upgraded and automated textile manufacturing plant machinery and helped modernize the manufacturing process. * Developed and was responsible for maintenance schedule.
