Support the facilitation of a dynamic, flipped-model classroom for NREM 203 focusing on applied calculus within the context of ecology, economics, and society. Collaborate with a unified teaching team of faculty and graduate assistants to lead active learning exercises, support laboratory instruction, and design curriculum materials. Dedicated to enhancing student engagement and bridging the gap between mathematical theory and real-world environmental applications.

Assists with building a centralized resource of plants native to Hawaiʻi and their Hawaiian names for botanical gardens and educators. Tracks taxonomy changes to support an accurate resource. Conducts data entry and quality control using Microsoft Excel. Communicates findings in virtual and in-person meetings to further statewide native plant conservation education goals in Hawai'i.

Contributed to planting, maintenance, and land care in restoration and agricultural areas in Kalihi Valley. Cultivated canoe plants like kalo and ‘ōlena as well as introduced plants like root vegetables, greens, and squash. Led volunteer and student work groups to foster public understanding of indigenous land stewardship and community health in the ahupuaʻa of Kalihilihiolaumiha.
