At the Food Bank of East Alabama, I volunteered as a Food Packing Assistant, where I got hands-on with sorting, packing, and organizing food for those in need. From inspecting food for quality to working alongside other passionate volunteers, every task felt meaningful because I knew it was making a direct impact. No prior experience was needed—just a willingness to help and a desire to make a difference. Rolling up my sleeves to fight hunger was one of the most rewarding experiences, and I’d encourage anyone to join in and be part of this important work!
