Taylor Krick

I host The Autoimmune Doc Podcast, Functional Medicine practitioner, chiropractor, educator, and owner of The Washington Wellness Center, dedicated to helping people understand the root cause of their health challenges so they can live happier, healthier lives. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science from Colorado State University and completed my doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Early in my career, my wife and I opened our first wellness clinic—Align Utah—where I spent nearly six years providing hands-on, individualized care for a wide range of patients, from professional skiers and national champion weightlifters to individuals reversing chronic disease, losing hundreds of pounds, and getting off long-term medications. In our final year, Align Utah was voted Best of Utah in Alternative Medicine. In 2018, we moved to Illinois to launch Washington Wellness Center, where I now provide Functional Medicine, nutritional guidance, lab interpretation, neurofeedback, and lifestyle education to patients throughout Central Illinois, across the United States, and around the world. I specialize in complex, chronic, or “mysterious” cases—especially autoimmune conditions—because I have lived that journey myself. After being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, I learned firsthand how powerful root-cause-based, drug-free approaches can be. In my practice and on The Autoimmune Doc Podcast, I focus on teaching people the why behind their symptoms. When patients understand the mechanisms—why their fatigue won’t go away, why anxiety keeps flaring, why bloating or headaches persist—the path to healing becomes clearer. My goal is to simplify these complex processes and give people the tools, confidence, and clarity they need to take control of their health.
