Studied abroad for spring semester. Learned over 1000 Chinese words and phrases, met and grew relationships with over 20 local students, served as liaison for other students in my program, purchased train tickets multiple times in Mandarin, learned about and executed move-in, move-out, and registration procedures properly in Mandarin, comforted fellow students through culture shock and homesickness, facilitated a mock conference for the school's class on English Conference Speaking, mastered a routine of Tai Chi.
