Navy Pier • Provide oversight of all Trade, Engineering and Receiving Departments. • Assist in the creation and administration of the Annual Maintenance and Operations Budget, as well as the Capital Improvement Budget. • Negotiated the terms, coordinated the installation and administered the antenna contracts for all the major telecommunication provider’s installations at Navy Pier. • Initiated and administrated many energy saving projects. Applied for and received rebates for these projects from the Illinois Department of Commerce. • Assisted in the design and coordinated the installation of programmable information and traffic signs. • Serve as Navy Pier liaison with labor unions. McCormick Place/Navy Pier • Prioritized, scheduled and administered maintenance and construction projects performed by in house trades and outside contractors. • Developed Scope of Work and Specifications for RFP's for the procurement of materials, products and services. • Provided input to the planning and implementation of facility upgrades and enhancements. • Administered a contract with consultants for the creation of a comprehensive Building Assessment report, as well as a multi-year Capital improvement Plan, for all aspects of the Lakeside Center (East Building at McCormick Place) • Coordinate the design, contract award and installation of Automated Parking Payment Systems; in the garages at Navy Pier and the Hyatt Regency, McCormick Place Hotel.
