Designed four bias test cards and one electromigration test card used to locate and diagnose potential failure sites in semiconductors. Used Cadence (Allegro PCB Designer) to write netlists and optimize routing paths for minimal number of layers, card surface area, and noise. Implemented a new design methodology to significantly reduce layer count and design time. Used Cadence (Allegro Package Designer) to assist in designing interposers. More specifically, created and edited vias, jogs, rfps, and acute angles. Verified and characterized values across nets on different substrates. Took two point and four point measurements (using a multimeter) to determine whether changes read out by the reliability tester were representative of failure sites. Took initial resistance and capacitance measurements across capacitors on laminates.

Was accepted and participated in the National Science Foundation's Cognitive and Autonomous Test Vehicle REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates). Designed a power efficient vehicular ad-hoc network for the purpose of transferring safety messages between vehicles. This new approach to VANETs represented a significant reduction in power use and enabled more vehicles to communicate simultaneously. Network was simulated in MATLAB and values were verified using GNU Radio. Published research to and presented at Wireless Innovation Forum Conference on Wireless Communication Technologies and Software Defined Radio (2016) in the technical track "Top 10 Most Wanted Wireless Innovations."
