* Prescreen employment candidates and schedule appointments. * Conduct all pre-employment reference checks. * Assist in extension of job offers and pre-employment and random drug tests. * Update the job opportunity list for distribution. * Maintain files for application, active employees and termed employees. * Assist in the badging of new hires employees, renewals and permanent badges. * Assist all departments with employee paperwork.

* Responsible for recreation activities of members between the ages of 6-18 attending the Cedar Lake Boys and Girls Club * Chaperones field trips to allow children to engage in a broad arrange of activities while under supervision * Runs multiple programs for members between the ages of 8-18 the focus on teaching children and teenagers leadership skills, communication skills, a positive self image, and a way to develop stronger social skills

* During the Summer only: * Oversee 10 staff counselors and 4 program staff counselors and provide them with guidance to fulfill their job duties and obligations to the campers * Manage unit of 24 campers and create activities for the groups to interact with each other * Schedule work hours and coordinate days off for counselors while managing a proper administration structure for children while their counselor had time off work * Order supplies to provide unit with ability to be resourceful with their activity ideas and allow children to use their creative process

* Responsible for 6 campers at a time to ensure their safety and ensure they acclimate to their new environment without complications * Create programs for campers entertainment while incorporating education and communal experiences * Help the children become accustomed to camp routine and assisting them in attending scheduled activities

* Maintains and administers Personal Leave of Absence (PLOA) and ADA procedures in accordance with company policies and with state and federal laws, ensuring accurate records are maintained. * Ensures integrity of LOA data input into HRIS system. * Creates and maintains reports for PLOA data. * Provides direction to employees and management regarding FMLA, PLOA and all state and federal laws relevant to Leave of Absence. * Coordinates and facilitates New Hire Orientation and online Compliance Training program. * Facilitates new supervisor training program.
