As the CTO and Co-founder of Briefcase, I have led the end-to-end development and deployment of a cutting-edge lawyer-client social media platform. Our platform connects clients with legal professionals efficiently, providing streamlined communication, profile management, and authentication services.Key Responsibilities & Achievements: Product Development & Architecture • Designed and implemented a Spring Boot REST API hosted on AWS EC2, with a MySQL database on RDS. • Developed a robust authentication system using AWS Cognito, ensuring secure sign-ups, logins, and federated authentication. • Engineered a highly scalable architecture to manage lawyer and client profiles, verification processes, and user authentication. • Implemented OAuth2 authentication and authorization flow Backend Engineering & API Development • Created role-based access control for clients and lawyers, ensuring access control and secure user interactions. • Built RESTful APIs for all application logic using Spring Boot. • Implemented JWT-based authentication and OAuth integration for federated logins. • Developed user verification workflows, integrating with external databases for lawyer authentication. • Implemented generative AI powered features, enabling a modern and intelligent user experience. Frontend & UI/UX Contributions • Designed mock up the user interface using Figma. • Developed a Flutter frontend, ensuring seamless integration with backend APIs. Security & Compliance • Designed data encryption and secure authentication mechanisms to comply with legal and privacy regulations. • Implemented rate limiting, security headers, and input validation to prevent security threats. Team Leadership & Strategy • Defined the technical roadmap, aligning with business goals for growth and scalability. • Collaborated with Arizona Bar Association and legal professionals to ensure platform compliance with industry standards.

Scoped and led development of multiple automation workflows for lead outreach services.

Designed and built AI-powered automation tools to streamline compliance audits and document analysis for the security practice. Leveraged frameworks (ISO, CIS, GDPR, CCPA) to support audits and assessments. Key Projects: AI Document Analysis Platform: Built a RAG system to automate document workflows for the Corsis platform. Automated SharePoint document ingestion, embeddings via AWS Bedrock, and a Playwright-based web automation to run assessments. Used SSE for live progress updates and added JWT auth with AWS KMS. Privacy & Compliance Scanner: Developed an automated scanner to audit 20+ client sites for third‑party tracking, PII collection, and policy gaps. Used EasyPrivacy/EasyList, regex-based PII detection, and Bedrock/Claude audits to produce GDPR/CCPA scores with A–F grades.
