To enhance and optimize Wal-mart services to Vendors Wal-Mart has built various custom applications like JEDI (Just EDI), GEM (Global Enterprise Mailbox), Portal (Web Interface for Supplier testing), WEB EDI (For Non-EDI Vendor). Wal-Mart has chosen Sterling applications (GIS 4.3, SI 5.0 etc) as backend system to stabilize and improve performance of system. With this new direction, advance feature Wal-Mart aims to achieve more stabilization and provide more effective and efficient Vendor Experience & Sales Conversion. Currently, Wal-Mart EDI system is running on Sterling Commerce product Gentran Integration Suite 4.3 which is having limitations on data processing, so Client has decided migrated to new version of Gentran known as Sterling Integrator 5.2. We are performing migration activities for translator (GIS 4.3) to SI 5.2 and supporting old as well new EDI system. Also Client is using Connect Enterprise functionality to store Vendor data processing i.e. for Responsibilities: • Lead a team of 8 people at onsite and offshore locations through complete life cycle of implementations to coordinate requirement gathering, development, testing and go live efforts and delivered the projects on time • Designing the system architecture, installation of application, creating and installing certificates, installing java custom services, configuring different adapters, coordinating the testing with QA • Responsible for writing Technical Design Documents (TDD) • Process development for outbound and inbound communications like HTTP/S, FTP, SFTP • Worked on Item movement(Retail) XML to FlatFile and FlatFile to XML mapping using XSD in AI mapper • Design and import the XSLT’s which are used for xml data filtration • Providing weekly status updates to the management team • 24/7 Post go-live support for the new interface Environment: Sterling Integrator (SI) 5.1, UNIX (AIX5.3), BPML, XPath, XSLT, XML, Application Integrator
