During my two years at Czarnikow, I supported the Americas trading team across both commercial and operational functions. I conducted market analysis, optimized freight logistics, and managed contract execution, helping drive strategic decision making. I also led consulting work on supply chain logistics in the U.S., authored 40+ articles on commodities, and regularly presented market insights to LATAM clients. My articles were featured on platforms like Yahoo Finance and Reuters, and I built tools and visualizations to enhance transparency across global commodity flows.

Here, I was working as an intern for the Development and New Project Team in the Finance Department. I was involved in initiating a project and executing a plan to rejuvenate an abandoned part of Guatemala City.

This firm is one of the only two microfinance banks in the world with a 5-star rating from MicroRate. I acquired comprehensive, first-hand, and reliable data of customers’ needs by visiting, living, and spending time with them for a month in one of the most underdeveloped regions of Guatemala. I enhanced customer satisfaction by remolding and formulating a rewards system.
