As the Marketing Manager for Festember’25 — the annual national cultural festival of NIT Trichy — I led sponsorship and marketing initiatives that helped the team secure over 50 sponsors across diverse sectors. I personally onboarded 8 brands, including Bingo, Oatey, DKMS India, and others, through strategic outreach, cold calling, and partnership pitching. My responsibilities included: Developing and executing sponsor acquisition strategies, including targeted marketing proposals and negotiations. Managing brand collaborations, deliverables, and on-ground activations during the fest. Overseeing the setup and management of company stalls during the event, ensuring smooth operations and maximum sponsor visibility. Coordinating with Person of Contact (POCs) and internal departments to maintain strong communication and timely deliverables. This experience honed my skills in marketing communication, client relations, negotiation, and event management, while strengthening my ability to work under pressure and lead a cross-functional team in a dynamic, large-scale environment.
