• Design and implement advanced optical setups consisting of sophisticated and state-of-the art instruments including high energy lasers, spatial light modulators and sensitive detectors • Design and nanofabrication of solid state lasers in the clean room environment • Perform complex experiments on the concept of non-hermitian photonic on the fabricated laser systems using the non-uniform pumping schemes • Experimental analysis on the modes of 3D microresonators in view of blackhole laers • Modeling and simulation of the photonic systems • Collaborate with the theoretical groups and conduct the experimental investigation on innovative projects • Perform complex laboratory procedures with responsibility for the independent development of methods and procedures • Develop and direct research activities independently including designing experiments, analysing data and interpreting results • Attend and present the research works in various meetings

• Teach various topics in Physics in the graduate and post-graduate level for 16 hours a week • Teach Laser Physics and Signal Processing in the Post Graduate level • Teach Optics and Spectroscopy in the Graduate level for Physics major students • Teach the introductory courses in Physics for the chemistry and maths major students • Conducting and monitoring various laboratory experiments for the graduate students • Guiding the assigned graduate students in effectively completing their project work as a part of their graduate course • Takepart actively in preparing the question papers for the graduate and post graduate students for the university examination • Takepart actively in conducting exams • Conducting additional classes for interested students to prepare them for attending various national level competitive exams in India • Actively takepart in the process of syllabus revision of the affiliated university • Perform other related duties as assigned
