As Director of Events and Planning, I work alongside the Board and key staff members in addition to our organizational partners to build and execute fundraising events to further OpenWorld Reliefs mission of empowering communities affected by natural disaster. These events range from small concerts and dinners to major corporate events with a wide variety of planning, logistics, and management perspectives. Assisting the Executive Director is organizing volunteer trips, supply chain management and project planning.

As a Volunteer Coordinator, I am responsible for making the volunteer experience seamless from the initial application through the completion of a volunteer project. Additionally, I am responsible for ensuring that the people we serve are protected and respected through the proper management of OpenWorld Reliefs Volunteers.

In May 2016, I graduated Cum Laude with my Bachelors of Arts in Digital Media Programming and Management with a minor in business. During my time in school I have excelled in project management, time efficiency, and communication. I strive for excellence and love being involved in projects and seeing them develop from start to finish.

Assisting lead planners in all aspects of planning: developing proposals, layouts and menus, direct communication with clients, handling deposits and contracts, internal rental orders, applying for NYS liquor licenses, developing and carrying out all aspects of clients tastings, revising and distributing proposals throughout company, preparing for final meetings, attending and overseeing events, etc.

I create pop-up events in Albany, NY and surrounding counties that support the community by giving back to education, healthcare and other non-profit organizations. I create a uniquely designed and creative shopping experience that is easy, fun and memorable. These events feature amazing products that are developed in a sustainable and high-quality way.

Alfandre Architecture is an architectural firm that incorporates sustainable practices into everything they do. Based out of New Paltz, NY they develop projects mainly for the Hudson Valley area. Some of my responsibilities include contact database management, creation of press releases, creation of newsletters, office organization, advertisement creation and assistance with events.

Pixel It Labs is a firm that aims to help companies increase their online presence. We offer a variety of services from web design and creation to SEO optimization. Some of my responsibilities include assistance with marketing offers, preparation and delivery of training materials, managing of social media sites, creation of content, creation of proposals for clients and editing of blog posts and e-books.

A 501-c non profit organization that supplies underprivileged children in different areas in and out of the United States with free oral healthcare. I have been involved in outreach trips in Central America to places like Nicaragua and Guatemala and other trips have included Jamaica and Grenada. We have supplied thousands of children with free dental health care, hygiene and education. During my time on our outreach trips I have acted as a coordinator, dental assistant, given dental hygiene workshops and helped organize donations whether they be monetary or clothing.
