Senior consultant and architect at CodeValue, working with clients across a wide range of industries – defense, aerospace, medical, cyber, fintech, and more – at companies from startups to large enterprises. Focused on software architecture, development, and process challenges. Engagements included delivering specialist work that required deep expertise outside the client's core team, introducing modern development practices and technologies to organizations unfamiliar with them, and mentoring development teams to improve their skills, processes, and architecture. Alongside consulting engagements, taught courses in C++, C#, Design Patterns, and Software Architecture for corporate teams at varying levels. Provided consulting services to Sela customers: Architecture, development, and ALM/DevOps, at various companies, concentrating on requirement gathering and specification writing, architectures, teaching and helping with various technology and development tasks. Taught various courses: C++ (from basic to advanced, internals, “Modern” C++, “Effective C++”, and more), C# (basic and advanced), Operating Systems (Windows internals, RT, multitasking), Design Patterns (in C++ and C#), and more. I also gave lectures (mostly C++-related) at Sela conferences.

• Software Architect, PC Health group: Improved and formalized the Problem and Solution Signatures department’s unique development process, predicted and prevented future product limitations, and implemented various Microsoft software development requirements, methodologies, and technologies. • UAG Direct Access: Built the test team – from test plans and test cases, through methodologies, to choosing, and, in some cases, building the tools. Helped streamline processes and tasks for the entire group. Direct Access enables remote access to the organizational network over IPv6.

• Managed vision software and hardware projects for accident reduction and driver assistance. As part of this role, I was responsible for requirement definition, software development, integration, and working closely with development and QA staff. • Customer management: Interacted with product managers and technical engineers in the automotive industry. Product delivery included configuration management and guidance, documentation, and integration assistance. Captured customer feedback, as well as software output, in order to improve product functionality, reliability, and satisfaction. • Enterprise-wide roles: ˗ Researched and implemented requirements management systems for the company by interacting with stakeholders, keeping them “in the loop” while analyzing the requirements in order to assure a satisfactory solution. ˗ Helped the company incorporate and comply with CMMI and SPICE, which are mandatory standards in the automotive industry.

Led a complete redesign of the press control system’s architecture. As part of my role, I researched, implemented, and standardized the team’s software development practices, including software tools and frameworks, methodologies, and coding guidelines. Transformed product requirements into system requirements, by cooperating with product managers.

Defined, specified, designed, and took part in the implementation of the server side of the company’s corporate product – Babylon Enterprise Server – from the ground up. This included gathering requirements for the product, designing core components, and managing the development efforts. Babylon-Enterprise generates 80% of Babylon’s total income.

Designed and implemented the distribution modules in Actimize Analytics Intelligence Server, the company’s Business Intelligence product, with emphasis on cross-platform compatibility. Researched and implemented protocols and frameworks, including Xerces, SMTP, LDAP, and ACE, in the application.

Designed and developed various applications and modules, including the system’s API, a software-based watchdog timer, and implementation of multi-language voice support in the product. Researched frameworks and modules in order to optimize product performance and stability.
