 Ensuring the practice of the ISO procedure throughout all processes in the department.  Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to a team of design engineers, nurturing their professional growth and ensuring cohesive teamwork.  Plan, organize, and prioritize design projects, allocating resources effectively to meet project milestones and deadlines. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to mitigate them.  Oversee the conceptualization, development, and refinement of design concepts, ensuring they align with project objectives, specifications, and regulatory requirements.  Implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and safety of design outputs. Conduct thorough reviews and evaluations to uphold quality standards.  Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including manufacturing, procurement, and research and development, to integrate design requirements and optimize project outcomes.  Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the design engineering team, leveraging feedback, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.  Manage project budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and expenditure to achieve cost-effective design solutions.  Stay abreast of industry standards, codes, and regulations relevant to design engineering. Ensure that designs comply with all applicable regulations and standards.  Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and outcomes. Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.  Identify potential risks and challenges in design projects and develop strategies to address them proactively, minimizing project disruptions and delays.  Work by abiding company established policies and procedures.  Perform any other duty assigned by Line Director .

- Design steel structures based on project requirements, architectural plans, and engineering principles. - Perform structural analysis using software (e.g., STAAD Pro, TS Tower, SAFE, PROKON etc) to ensure stability, strength, and safety. - Calculate loads (dead loads, live loads, wind loads, seismic loads, etc.) and assess the performance of steel structures under various conditions. - Ensure designs comply with relevant standards (such as AISC, Eurocode, IS codes, etc.). - Develop detailed design drawings, plans, and specifications for steel frames, beams, columns, and other structural components. - Visit construction sites to ensure that the steel structures are being erected according to the design specifications. - Address any structural issues or concerns that arise during construction.
