Asif Adnan

I am an Environmental Science graduate with a growing specialization in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, and spatial analysis for environmental and climate resilience research. Currently working as a Research Associate (GIS and Environment), I bring hands-on experience from both academic and field-based projects involving water quality, land use, and vulnerability assessment in coastal Bangladesh. My technical skill set includes ArcGIS (ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro), Google Earth Engine, spatial interpolation, land use classification, and hydrochemical analysis using integrated GIS workflows. I have contributed to multiple research initiatives funded by UNESCO, World Vision, and Government of Bangladesh, focusing on climate vulnerability, sustainable livelihoods, and groundwater quality. In parallel with my technical skills, I actively engage in interdisciplinary environmental research and have co-authored and presented studies in national and international conferences. My long-term goal is to apply spatial science and geoinformatics to real-world climate adaptation, environmental monitoring, and evidence-based policy development in vulnerable regions.
