Analyze project and client requirements, BOQ, specified vendors list for each product/service. • Handling material submittals, floating enquiries and obtaining offers, price negotiations, preparing price comparisons and examining them technically and commercially. • Communicating with the suppliers & engineers, identifying cost-effective solutions and spearheading alternative business solutions. • To report to the senior procurement manager and manage the procurement process and ensure the timely availability of material on the project. • Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers/ subcontractors to ensure that target prices, contract terms and conditions are met • Work along with the Project Manager for the site material requirements/subcontractors work/services in accordance with the Project Schedule. • Analyze all suppliers in order to select the most suitable suppliers who are able to deliver high quality products at competitive pricing. . Analyze the subcontractor scope of work, and find out any contradiction between Main contractor scope and Subcontractors packages. • Placing Purchase Order by incorporation of all necessary contract terms and conditions. And follow up with the suppliers up to material delivery. • Ensure all contracting and procurement activities are conducted in accordance with policy & sound, ethical & business practices.

Working as a Procurement/Purchase Engineer in a Contracting/Construction materials supplying company in a fast paced business environment and effectively contributes to the cost deduction strategies of the company. 1. Responsible for the timely procurement transaction for materials, services, equipment for the best price and best values. 2. Prepare request for quotations (RFQ) with all required information mentioned in the form and float inquiries to the suppliers/ sub-contractors from the approved vendor Database, catalogs and other medium. 3. Gather and analyze vendor quotes, complete the REQ process in ERP and send for approval to Department head. 4. Issue purchase orders / contract upon approvals based on the most accurate information (quantity, price, delivery, time line) and forward to the suppliers for deliveries as per the committed deliverv date and time. 5. Develop proposals for cost saving methods of purchasing goods and services. Identify and suggest equivalent products of better quality and or at the lowest cost. 6.Provide best practices knowledge and support to the administrative team and participate as required as a key stakeholder, in the competitive bid process, pricing agreement negotiations and other procurement transactions
