Engineering Manager for the SaaS platform, managing a team of engineers across the stack. Facilitated multiple consequential projects for the company. Our team: --> Migrated our on-premise Postgresql Server to Azure's DbaaS --> Reduced infrastructure costs by ~45k euros p.a. --> Designed & scaled our ETLs --> Upgraded our python2.x Django monolith to python3.x --> Migrated our microservices to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) In addition to managing our engineers & their career paths, a typical week for me includes: • Hiring (Because hiring never stops) •. Weekly 1-1s with my engineers • Collaborating with Product Managers/Owners on priorities, feasibility of required solutions and translation into concrete engineering tasks with my engineers • Technical discussions & implementation of solutions with engineers (architecture discussions, pair programming etc)

Worked as a web developer and tester and providing support to our development team in Europe. In addition, I am promoting our application with presence in Conferences and Meetups and actively meeting with potential clients in the Bay Area

Spent my first two months training in the Swiss Office of Trifork, after which I worked in the London office. I was mostly involved in the backend and testing of a web-based product dealing with ElasticSearch, Python (Django Framework) and Docker on a day-to-day basis. I was then asked to take on responsibilities of an Evangelist in San Francisco

In my first academic term I facilitated sessions for first year undergraduate students in Introductory Java on BlueJ and Web Development for second year undergraduates. In my second term, I supervised first year undergraduates in Further Object Oriented Programming in BlueJ and second year undergraduates in Software Engineering.
